Whether you want to donate time reviewing marketing materials, speaking to the press, or making thank you calls — Bee Mighty would love to have you join us in whatever capacity suits your strength and availability. We have a place for everyone. Committee opportunities are listed below. Please email for more information about how to join a committee.

Bee Grateful

This Committee is for those that are Bee Mighty loyalists from the comfort of their own living room. This committee has volunteered to personally write and thank our donors, sponsors and partners. Usually, they have their own story to tell and want to express their gratitude with the limited time they have.

The Fundraising Committee will manage an annual fund, focusing on online donations, campaign appeals and Sponsorships.

Marketing & Communications

This committee builds the marketing and communications strategy for Bee Mighty, as well as a robust infrastructure for implementation. This group will focus on telling stories and communicating Bee Mighty’s impact in the community. The Marketing Communication Committee includes storytellers, writers, interviewers and individuals who are proficient in social media strategy. In partnership with the Fundraising Committee, they build and manage themed campaigns to be communicated across social media, events and collateral.

This committee will be led by the treasurer and will handle all financial responsibilities, including the Bee Mighty Database.

This committee works closely with hospital partners and developing new hospital partnerships, as well as research grant opportunities.

The Outreach Committee concentrates on raising awareness for Bee Mighty within our community. Our goal is to educate families that resources and support for therapy and equipment exist. We do this through creating a Bee Mighty presence at key NICU events (March of Dimes Walk, Monthly NICU Dinners, NICU Reunion Picnics, etc). We also create opportunities to increase exposure through T-shirts, collateral and creative ways to reach families. The Outreach Committee also reaches Providers (Therapists, Equipment Providers, Doctors, Nurses, etc) to arm them with information that Bee Mighty is here to help their families. The Outreach team meets quarterly and chooses 2-4 objectives for the year. Collectively, they have created Bee Mighty NICU badges for nurses, designed book of hope for current NICU families, collateral for patients at discharge, navigated relationships with multiple hospitals, contacted community providers and much, much more.

The Events Committee leads the planning and management of Bee Mighty’s annual gala, Bee Something for Bee Mighty. This includes logistics, sponsorship, auction, raffle, communications and volunteer management. Non-Gala events, such a s golf tournaments, Bee a Host, Preemie Santa will be managed individually.
